We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurohospitalist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Loveland, Colorado. This position offers a balanced inpatient and telestroke model, modern hospital resources, and the chance to work within a fully staffed Primary Stroke Center supported by a dedicated stroke team.

• Primary Stroke Center with comprehensive stroke services

• Combined inpatient neurology and telestroke coverage

• 24-hour shift model for schedule efficiency

• Well-supported hospital environment with full ancillary services

• IMLC accepted with ability to assist in Colorado licensure

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: Ongoing need

• 24-hour shifts

  • Inpatient and telestroke coverage: 6:00am – 6:00pm

  • Night call: 6:00pm – 6:00am

• 12–15 shifts per month, ASAP availability preferred

• Hospital-based

• Primary Stroke Center

• Full hospital staffing with dedicated stroke team

• Lab and X-ray onsite

• EMR: Epic

• 45 total ICU beds

• Level 1–3 trauma coverage

• 12 rehabilitation beds

• Provide inpatient neurohospitalist coverage

• Deliver timely and effective telestroke consultations

• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and stroke team members

• Maintain high standards of patient safety and evidence-based neurological care

• Board Certified Neurology – Required

• Active Colorado license – Highly Preferred

  • Will consider active IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LOQ)

• Stroke telemedicine (telestroke) experience – Required

• BLS – Required (must obtain prior to start)

• COVID vaccination – Required
