RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Urologist for a locums opportunity in the Harrisburg, PA area. This assignment offers rotating call coverage, strong APP support, and coverage across three hospitals located within a 10-mile radius.

• Assignment Type: Locums

• Schedule:

  • Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM

  • Ability to work 1–4 weeks per month

• Call Coverage Includes:

  • Consults

  • Emergent surgeries

  • Issues not managed by APPs

• Weekend Call:

  • Morning inpatient rounding required

• Call Volume:

  • Light during weekdays

  • Heavier on weekends (APPs onsite weekdays only)

• Hospitals Covered: 3 hospitals within a 10-mile radius

• Transfers: Receive acute transfers from community hospitals within the system

• APP Support:

  • Dedicated urology PAs/NPs onsite Monday–Friday, 7a–7p

  • APPs handle:

    • Initial consults

    • Case prep

    • Scheduling and workflow

  • Starting April 2026: One weekend APP covering all three hospitals (7a–7p)

• Estimated Case Volume: ~10 cases per week

• EMR: Cerner

• Privileges: Temporary privileges available

• A-rated malpractice insurance
