Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for an urgent ongoing engagement in Wausau, Wisconsin. This opening follows a last-minute cancellation, and the facility is looking to secure a provider ASAP to stabilize their surgical and clinical operations.
Position Overview
- Start Date: ASAP (Pending credentialing)
- Duration: Ongoing (Primary need through April 2026, intermittent thereafter)
- Coverage Type: Clinic + OR + Call
- Commitment: 36 hours per week (Flexible days/times)
Schedule & Clinical Responsibilities
- System Call: 7–10 days per month, including one weekend rotation.
- Clinic/OR Split: Full-time clinic coverage with 2–3 dedicated OR days per week.
- Outreach: May include 1–2 days per month at the Wisconsin Rapids satellite location.
- EMR: Epic.
Candidate Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Urology.
- Life Support: Active BLS.
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) Medical License.
- Availability: Priority will be given to candidates who can commit to the bulk of the need through April 2026.
- Credentialing: 90-day timeline.
