Urology Locums - AZ - Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call - July, Aug, Nov & Dec Dates

Coverage Type: Scheduled clinic Hours + Call
Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Call Coverage: Night calls (8 hours) and Weekend calls
Support Staff: 1 PA, no other MD’s, Mas assigned
Board Certification: BC/BE (Urology)
License: Active AZ medical license or IMLC
Requirements: DEA, ACLS and BLS
Patients Per Shift: 20 patients per day in clinic
Hospital Bed size: 99
Minimum Experience Required: 1 year
Procedures per day: 10-15 per week
Surgeries in OR: 3 or 4 per day
Robotics: No
EMR: Cerner
Special Procedures: in clinic vasectomy, infant circumcision outpatient (not required)

Position Overview:
Hospital-based locum opportunity seeking BC/BE Urology physicians for clinic, inpatient consults, and 24-hour call coverage. Schedule includes clinic hours with night beeper call and select 24-hour shifts. Average 20 clinic patients/day, 3–4 OR cases/day, no robotics. Supported by 1 PA. Cerner EMR. AZ license or IMLC required, DEA required.

Scheduled Dates & Times:

• July 1–3: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) + night beeper call 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• July 4–5: 24-hour call (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
• August 15–16: 24-hour call (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
• November 23–29: Mix of clinic days with night call and 24-hour call shifts
• December 28–31: Clinic days with night call coverage

Key Responsibilities:

• Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
• Night beeper call coverage
• Perform urology procedures and surgeries as scheduled

Rates:

• 24 Hour On Call: $2400/day-$2800/day
• Regular Hours: $425/hour
• Night call: $475/night
• Call- Back: $450/hour
