Shift Details:

• Estimated Start Date: Negotiable based on candidate availability
• Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: Full-time, permanent leadership role
• Schedule Details: Monday – Friday, Mux of clinic, OR, and administrative responsibilities
• Procedures: General urologic procedures; opportunity to develop subspecialty interests
• Certifications Needed: Active or eligible for Colorado medical license; Board Certification in Urology
• Patient Population/Case Load: Adult population; mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
• Call Coverage: Taking shared call (only 14 - 21 days a year)
• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the urology department, including clinical oversight and strategic planning
• Provide high-quality urologic care to a diverse adult patient population
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
• This position is in an academic hospital, teaching residents and fellows

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited urology residency
• Board Certified in Urology
• Active Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Proven leadership experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
