Chief of Urology Opportunity – Permanent Position in Colorado
Job Title: Chief of Urology
Provider Details:

Shift Details:
- Estimated Start Date: Negotiable based on candidate availability
- Requested Date of Coverage and Schedule: Full-time, permanent leadership role
- Schedule Details: Monday – Friday, Mux of clinic, OR, and administrative responsibilities
- Procedures: General urologic procedures; opportunity to develop subspecialty interests
- Certifications Needed: Active or eligible for Colorado medical license; Board Certification in Urology
- Patient Population/Case Load: Adult population; mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
- Call Coverage: Taking shared call (only 14 - 21 days a year)
- Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the urology department, including clinical oversight and strategic planning
- Provide high-quality urologic care to a diverse adult patient population
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
- This position is in an academic hospital, teaching residents and fellows
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited urology residency
- Board Certified in Urology
- Active Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Proven leadership experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
