Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid state medical license in Ohio or eligible
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
- Proven experience in inpatient neurology care
- Strong knowledge of EEG, EMG, Stroke management, Brain Death Exams, and Thrombolytic Therapy
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience interpreting radiologic exams
- Prior work in hospital-based neurology settings
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Additional certifications in Critical Care or Neurophysiology
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inpatient neurology coverage
- Current Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start as soon as credentialing is complete (~short turnaround)
- Ability to work on a flexible shift schedule, including 24-hour shifts as determined (TBD)
- Willingness to travel and stay lodging provided (~$150/night) plus approved expenses
