Neuro Critical Care Physician Opportunity Location: Binghamton, NY Position Overview • Seeking a Neuro Critical Care Physician to join a growing neuroscience service line in Upstate New York • Opportunity driven by increased demand for stroke and neurosurgical critical care services • Join a collaborative team dedicated to advanced neurologic and critical care management Clinical & Program Highlights • 7 on / 7 off schedule with 24/7 coverage during on-service week • Medical, Surgical, and Neuro ICU with 14 beds, flexed to meet service needs • Separate 16-bed Cardiovascular ICU • Average daily patient census of 8–10 • Neuro ICU staffed by 2 fellowship-trained neurointensivists • Close collaboration with neurosurgery and neurointerventional teams • Advanced technology including: o Bi-planar angiography o Camino ICP monitoring o CSF drainage equipment o Continuous EEG (cEEG) monitoring Support & Resources • Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) support • Epic EMR • Teaching and academic involvement with a faculty appointment through an affiliated medical school Compensation & Benefits • Competitive compensation package • Annual salary range: $447,763 – $471,400 • Student loan forgiveness options available • H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship assistance Facility Highlights • Practice across a regional healthcare system with both community and teaching hospital environments • Level II Trauma designation with an active stroke program and ongoing expansion of comprehensive stroke services Why Binghamton • Scenic community located in New York’s Southern Tier near the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers • Strong employment base with major technology, defense, and manufacturing employers • Multiple colleges and universities with excellent public and private schooling options • Rich cultural scene including a philharmonic orchestra, opera, museums, gardens, zoo, and science centers • Abundant outdoor recreation with biking and walking trails, golf courses, and youth sports • Convenient access to major metropolitan areas, including New York City approximately three hours away
