Locum - Urology - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Urology

We are seeking a Urology Physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This hospital-based position offers the opportunity to provide inpatient care across a full range of urology services, including general urology and post-operative care. Enjoy a flexible schedule with no on-call requirements while being part of a collaborative team of five urologists. This role is available from February 2, 2026, to March 31, 2026, making it an ideal short-term opportunity for qualified professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient urology care, including general urology services.
• Deliver post-operative care to patients.
• Collaborate with fellow urologists during the assignment.
• Manage patient load, typically around 6-8 inpatients per shift, depending on shift volume.
• Document patient care and treatment plans using Meditech EMR.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts medical license (REQUIRED).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (REQUIRED).
• Current BLS certification (REQUIRED).
• No malpractice history and a clean background (REQUIRED).
• Self-query NPDB report to be provided (pulled within 30 days) (REQUIRED).
• COVID vaccination (REQUIRED).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Massachusetts Medical License (MA).
• Board certification in Urology or eligibility.
• BLS Certification.
