Job description Northwest Urology (part of Arizona Center for Cancer Care – AZCCC) is seeking Board Certified / Board Eligible Urologists to join a growing, physician-owned, multi-specialty practice serving the Metro Phoenix and Scottsdale areas.
  • $700K + earning potential (salary guarantee plus generous call stipends)

Job Responsibilities

Perform the clinical, supervisory, administrative, and other duties as assigned by the company.

The specific nature of the duties to be performed by the physician, including the locations and the times for performance of those duties, will be as established by the company, based on the need of the patients.

Responsibilities include reasonable call coverage, participating in administrative and committee meetings, and may include serving as the "supervising physician" of physician assistants employed by the Company. If the physician is a "supervising physician" of a physician assistant(s), as required by Arizona law, the physician will enter into a delegation agreement with the physician assistant(s).

Perform all the duties assigned to him or her to the best of his or her ability in a manner satisfactory to the company.

Accurately maintain, and timely prepare records, preserve all such records, and make reports that the company may require.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the applicable standards of care of the medical profession and any applicable professional associations in accordance with the principles of ethics of the American Medical Association or American Osteopathic Association, and with any federal, state, or municipal law, or any rule, regulation, policy, or requirement of any administrative agency, certification organization or accreditation organization with jurisdiction as to, or pertaining to, his or her medical practice.

Adhere to all written policies, rules, procedures, handbooks and standards established or adopted by AZCCC, including those pertaining to utilization review, quality assessment and continuing medical education.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited college of medicine with a valid unrestricted license to practice issued by the Arizona Medical Board.

Must be registered with the United States department of justice drug enforcement administration and maintain a valid unrestricted controlled substance registration certificate.
