Urology locums coverage needed in Marshfield, Wisconsin for a well-established hospital-based urology service.

This role is suited for a general urologist comfortable with a mix of clinic and procedural work, including routine inpatient consults and call coverage.

Key Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Urology

• Comfortable with adult urology and routine inpatient consults

• Willing to manage clinic, hospital consults, and procedural cases

• Pediatric exposure limited to occasional ER consults such as testicular torsion

• Prior hospital-based urology experience preferred

Assignment Overview

• Location: Marshfield, WI

• Start: ASAP

• Schedule: Approximately two weeks per month

  • Mix of clinic, hospital coverage, and OR time

• Clinic volume: 16–20 patients per day

• Case mix:

  • Cystoscopy

  • Stent placement and removal

  • Prostate biopsy

  • Vasectomy

  • Bladder instillations

• Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient

• EMR: Cerner

• Support: Full APP, RN, MA, and office staff support

Call Coverage

• Beeper call

• Call ratio approximately 1:2 or 1:3

• Call structure and expectations reviewed during screening

Compensation

• Provider rate: $330 per hour

• Call and callback paid separately per established structure

• Travel and lodging handled per standard locums arrangements

Credentialing

• Temporary privileges available

• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
