Join an outpatient clinic as a Urologist for a locum tenens assignment ranging from 3 to 6 months. This role involves a mix of clinic work, call coverage, and general urological procedures, with the opportunity to utilize robotic surgery if desired. You’ll be the sole provider in a fast-paced, busy department, with a flexible schedule focused on quality patient care.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with night call (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM) and occasional 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive urology care including procedures such as cystoscopies, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, and TURP
  • Conduct routine and emergent urological surgeries with an expected volume of 20–30 surgeries per month
  • Manage clinic duties and take hospital call during clinic hours, including weekend responsibilities
  • Utilize robotic surgery capabilities as appropriate
  • Collaborate with support staff including RNs, MAs, and surgery schedulers

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology
  • Active WA license or eligibility for IMLC
  • Certifications: BLS and DEA (ACLS preferred)
  • Capability to cover 80% of scheduled dates

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • 24-hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, approximately 5–6 days/month

  • Ability to work independently in a high-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and provide excellent patient care
