A community-focused, not-for-profit hospital in scenic southern Vermont, is actively seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist to join our collaborative team.
This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a modern facility with state-of-the-art surgical suites, while enjoying a balanced schedule, a supportive work environment, and the exceptional quality of life that Vermont has to offer.

Job Description:
  • Provide comprehensive urological care to both adult and pediatric patients
  • Deliver care in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient hospital settings
  • Work collaboratively with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner within a single-site practice located on the campus of the Hospital
  • Perform surgical procedures in new, state-of-the-art operating rooms
  • Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency department
  • Participate in a light on-call rotation, covering one hospital site for 7 days per month with a 1:4 call schedule
  • No involvement in trauma cases or robotic surgeries
  • Utilize Cerner Community Works for electronic medical records and clinical documentation
  • Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Manage an average of 14–16 patients per day
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural, community-focused hospital environment
  • Support departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Will consider candidates with lapsed board certification (if willing to recertify)
  • Open to new graduates
  • Not open to long-distance commuters or those seeking alternative shift arrangements
