Urology in Odessa, Texas | High-Demand Market | $710,000+ Base

Odessa, Texas is an underserved urology market with a large, established patient base and a well-resourced health system ready to support a urologist who wants to build a high-volume, high-impact practice. With full robotic and general surgical capabilities already in place and a community actively seeking urological care, you can step in and start making an impact from day one.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Single-hospital coverage with an outpatient clinic and ASC directly across the parking lot; full robotic and general urological capabilities on-site
  • Monday through Friday schedule with a 4-day clinic or hospital rotation and 1-day O.R.; call is 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month, split with locum providers
  • 30 patients per day in clinic, 3 to 5 O.R. procedures daily, and 6 to 8 hospital consults with IR Radiology available 24/7
  • Subspecialists welcome, or we are open to candidates who maintain proficiency in general urology

Compensation & Benefits

  • Inpatient/outpatient base salary of $710,000 plus RVUs, with total earning potential reaching $1,000,000
  • $90,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance, both negotiable
  • 24 days PTO, up to $5,000 CME allowance with 5 CME days, and full licensure and DEA reimbursement
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage plus a Simple IRA with 3% match after one year

What You Bring

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Comfortable with bread-and-butter urology; case mix is flexible based on your preferences
  • New graduates and experienced urologists are both encouraged to apply
  • H1B sponsorship available; eligible for Texas medical licensure

Live and Work in Odessa, Texas

Odessa sits at the heart of the Permian Basin with a cost of living roughly 8% below the national average and housing that runs about 15% below national benchmarks. The Midland International Airport offers direct flights to Dallas, Houston, Austin, Denver, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, making travel straightforward from a city that tends to surprise people once they spend time there. Award-winning public schools, the University of Texas Permian Basin, and a range of neighborhoods from country club to more modest subdivisions give families real options. A revitalized downtown, local dining, and an active parks system round out a community with more going on than its reputation suggests.
