POSITION OVERVIEW
A urology opportunity in Northern New Mexico seeking consistent block coverage for clinic and operating-room support. This role is ideal for a general urologist who performs bread-and-butter procedures, enjoys a balanced workflow, and prefers assignments without call responsibilities. Coverage needs extend into 2026, providing predictable ongoing scheduling for the right provider.
SCOPE OF WORK
Core Responsibilities:
- Outpatient clinic visits
- Operating room cases (based on provider skillset)
- Routine urologic evaluations and management
- Standard diagnostic and procedural urology
- Review of patient results and follow-up recommendations
Common Procedures Include:
- Cystoscopy
- Stone disease management (ureteroscopy, stent placement)
- Prostate and bladder procedures
- Basic laparoscopic urologic surgery
- General GU care and continuity
Practice Environment:
- Supportive OR and clinic staff
- Standard imaging and lab access
- Established clinical workflows
SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
- Coverage Blocks: 1–2 weeks per month (flexible)
- Structure: Monday–Friday
- Call: None
- Assignment Duration: Ongoing through 2026
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active state license or willingness to obtain
- Proficient in general urologic procedures
- Ability to manage both clinic and OR workloads
