POSITION OVERVIEW

A urology opportunity in Northern New Mexico seeking consistent block coverage for clinic and operating-room support. This role is ideal for a general urologist who performs bread-and-butter procedures, enjoys a balanced workflow, and prefers assignments without call responsibilities. Coverage needs extend into 2026, providing predictable ongoing scheduling for the right provider.

SCOPE OF WORK

Core Responsibilities:

  • Outpatient clinic visits
  • Operating room cases (based on provider skillset)
  • Routine urologic evaluations and management
  • Standard diagnostic and procedural urology
  • Review of patient results and follow-up recommendations

Common Procedures Include:

  • Cystoscopy
  • Stone disease management (ureteroscopy, stent placement)
  • Prostate and bladder procedures
  • Basic laparoscopic urologic surgery
  • General GU care and continuity

Practice Environment:

  • Supportive OR and clinic staff
  • Standard imaging and lab access
  • Established clinical workflows

SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT

  • Coverage Blocks: 1–2 weeks per month (flexible)
  • Structure: Monday–Friday
  • Call: None
  • Assignment Duration: Ongoing through 2026

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Active state license or willingness to obtain
  • Proficient in general urologic procedures
  • Ability to manage both clinic and OR workloads
