- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 4-8 patients per shift. This locum assignment consists of Urologic ER call only and rounding on inpatient consults, with no procedures expected outside of general urology and all patient admissions managed by hospitalists. Coverage is based on the call schedule of the remaining medical staff, who are required to cover ER days monthly per bylaws, and the provider may hold either an Alabama license or an IMLC. Weekend coverage runs from Friday at 0700 through Monday at 0700, with calls beginning and ending at 0700, and the current dates include December 12, December 13, December 26, December 27, December 28, and December 30, with additional dates to be added as they become available.

Job Responsibilities
* Round on inpatient urology consults
* Manage general urology needs with no procedures outside of standard scope
* Coordinate with hospitalists who handle all patient admissions
* Support ongoing coverage needs based on monthly medical staff call schedules
Qualifications
* Ability to cover general urology ER call and inpatient consults
* Comfortable working independently in a call-only role

* Call begins at 0700 and ends at 0700
