Neurologist needed for a physician-owned and managed practice with locations across NYC. Open to part time or full time, flexible scheduling and locations depending on candidate needs. Focus will be on head trauma and brain damage from workplace injuries. Employed position with competitive compensation plan and benefits!
Job Description:
Compensation : $250000 - $300000 Job ID : 35578
Job Function:
- No on-call responsibilities, standard business hours and flexible scheduling 10am-6pm but open to 2-5 days per week
- Neurologist will cover multiple clinical locations on an outpatient-only basis.
- Patients who come through the disability, workers compensation program must undergo primary care, general health assessments, often neurological and sometimes a mental health assessment.
- Patients have injuries either short-term or chronic conditions.
- Determine patients ability to work, mental health status and mental well-being - patients may be suffering from depression, anxiety.
- Ability to conduct EMGs required, EEGs a plus but not required
- Diagnose medical conditions, manage chronic health issues, refer out most Medicaid long-term care.
Job Requirements:
- DOT, Workers compensation experience preferred
- Workers Comp # preferred, willingness to obtain required
- NYS License, CSR, DEA preferred - not required
- Residency training in Neurology required
