🩺 Position Overview
A well-respected healthcare organization in Mishawaka, IN, is urgently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to assist with clinic and hospital call coverage. This ongoing locum assignment provides consistent work opportunities through 2026 and allows for a balanced mix of clinic, inpatient, and procedural duties.
This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality urological care.
📅 Assignment Schedule
🕒 Start Date: As soon as credentialed
📆 Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage
🏥 Duties Include:
- Clinic coverage + hospital call
- Rounding, consults, and general urology procedures
- Occasional weekend call coverage
- Adults only (2–5 patients per day)
- EMR: EPIC
- Full travel & lodging covered! ✈️🏨
⚙️ Scope of Practice
As part of this assignment, you will handle a full spectrum of general urology cases, including:
- Diagnosis and treatment of urologic conditions
- Outpatient and inpatient consults
- Surgical and procedural work within general urology
- Collaboration with hospital staff and support teams
- Robotics-trained providers are highly preferred 🤖
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
- Active Indiana Medical License – required at time of submission
- Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDS) and DEA (with IN practice address)
- ACLS certification – required
- Robotics-trained – highly preferred
- Must list availability
