Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Urology Physician to work locum shifts in New Castle, Pennsylvania (PA) Starting in December or as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work each month with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Urology role:
- Location: New Castle, PA
- Coverage Type: Locum coverage across 3 campuses.
Schedule:
1 full week per month
Shift Times:
- Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
- Call: 24-hour shifts, 7am–7am
Estimated Shifts/Month: 5
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Call Volume: 0–4 calls per night (low volume)
- APP support available 8am–4pm for consults and rounding
Clinical Scope:
- Outpatient clinic at one location
- Inpatient coverage and call at other 2 locations
- Locum will work at one location per day
- APPs handle daytime consults and rounding
- 20–25 patients/day in clinic (flexible based on provider comfort)
EMR: EPIC & Cerner
Requirements of the Urology role:
PA State License active & unrestricted, or IMLC LOQ (In-Hand)
Board Certified-Urology
ACLS, BLS, DEA
Experience: minimum 3 years exp.
