Urology Opening in Jackson, MI Detroit 77m Seeking a Urologist to join a collaborative and well-supported team. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position in a modern setting with a strong focus on patient care, access to advanced technology, and a balanced work-life schedule. Position Overview * Location: Jackson, MI (approximately 77 miles west of Detroit) * Start Date: As soon as possible (with approximately 90-day credentialing period) * Schedule: Outpatient, inpatient, rounds, and clinic duties * Clinic/OR Split: 2 dedicated OR days per week and 2.5 clinic days per week * Providers see ~22 patients/day, including 2 new patients (clinic sees 70–80 patients/day) * Call Rotation: 1:4, shared equally among providers (includes some weekends) * Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center with state-of-the-art equipment and modern facilities * Clinic Location: Minutes from the hospital for streamlined workflow * Support Staff: Advanced Practice Providers, 5 MAs, and full front office support * On-Site Procedures & Equipment: * Disposable cystoscopies * Vasectomies * BCG and Gemzar instillations * Uroflow and urodynamics * Prostate biopsies Candidate Requirements * Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (must become BC within 6 months) * Licensure: Active Michigan license or willingness to obtain * Certifications: BLS and ACLS (or willing to obtain) * DEA, CSR/CDS (must be obtained before start – no exemptions) * Up-to-date flu vaccination (or willing to obtain) * Experience: Clean malpractice and licensure history required * Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance (under 1 hour) * Not open to those seeking alternate shift schedules or dual employment Compensation & Benefits * Salary: Competitive and based on experience/training (discussed at interview) * Relocation Assistance: Offered, if applicable * Incentives: Additional negotiable incentives available * Continuing Education: CME allowance * Insurance Coverage: Health, dental, and vision, Prescription drug coverage, Life insurance, and Short-term and long-term disability * Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) * Paid Time Off (vacation/sick), paid holidays * Tuition reimbursement * 2 weeks paid parental leave * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Discounts to various businesses and services This is a great position for a Urologist to join a forward-thinking, patient-first organization with access to advanced procedures, integrated care models, and a supportive environment.
