Job Opportunity: Locum Urologist in Greenville, SC
Join a thriving hospital-based practice at a leading healthcare facility in Greenville, South Carolina. The team is seeking a skilled Urologist to cover for a provider vacancy, focusing exclusively on inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients. Enjoy a collaborative environment along with access to onsite lab and X-ray services, providing a comprehensive patient experience. This position requires availability for up to six days per month, including weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide urology services in an inpatient setting for adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform general urology procedures, including ureteroscopy.
- Collaborate with a team of five fellow Urologists during your assignment.
- Support and manage inpatient care, ensuring quality patient outcomes.
- Interact with ancillary services and maintain effective patient communication.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology - REQUIRED
- Active South Carolina medical license (consideration for those in process)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications - REQUIRED
- Current DEA registration - REQUIRED
- Availability to provide coverage for up to six days per month - REQUIRED
- MUST submit application for both facility locations to be considered
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Urology
- Active South Carolina medical license
- ACLS and BLS certification
- DEA license
