Inpatient Neurologist – Albany, NY

Compensation: $350,000+ Base Salary + Bonuses & Incentives | Starting Bonus | PSLF Eligible

Position Overview

A well-established, mission-driven health system in Albany, NY is seeking a Board-Certified Inpatient Neurologist to join its hospital-based neurology team. This is a unique and flexible role offering no outpatient responsibilities and a true work-life balance rarely found in inpatient neurology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient neurological care with no clinic/outpatient duties.

• Work a flexible schedule: 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off.

• Manage a wide spectrum of neurological conditions including:

  • Stroke

  • Epilepsy

  • Brain tumors

  • Dementia

  • Neuropathies

  • Movement disorders

  • Acute back/neurological pain syndromes

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, physician-led team focused on quality, compassionate care.

• Serve patients in a Primary Stroke Center–designated facility with strong neurodiagnostic support and subspecialist consultation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $350,000+ (plus shift differentials, incentives, and bonuses)

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Neurology (or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency) – Required

• New York Medical License (or ability to obtain) – Required

• DEA (or willingness to obtain) – Required

• Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred
