Job description Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join a multispecialty group practice. The role involves providing comprehensive urologic care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population, utilizing advanced technology including the DaVinci surgical robotic system. The position offers a supportive referral network, strong ancillary staff, and access to modern diagnostic and treatment facilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with urologic conditions in both outpatient and limited inpatient settings.
• Perform general urology procedures as well as advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Participate in on-call coverage (10 days per month) and collaborate with primary care physicians for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (Epic) and adhere to hospital policies and quality standards.
• Engage in patient education, preventive care initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology – Required
• Active Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain – Required
• BLS and ACLS certification – Required
• Proficiency in a range of urologic procedures including nephrectomies, prostatectomies, cystectomies, and stone disease management – Required
• Willingness to live within 40 miles of practice location or relocate – Required
• Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates

Working Hours

• Full-time, days (hours negotiable)
• On-call: 10 days per month
• Weekend call included within on-call schedule

Skills

• Expertise in general and advanced urologic surgical techniques
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
