Urologist – Weekend Call Coverage

Schedule

5PM Friday – 7AM Monday (weekend call)

1 weekend per month

Weekends are flexible – can be scheduled based on provider availability
Clinical Setting

Inpatient hospital, level 4 trauma
-
189-bed facility
-
No additional in-house urology support during call
-
Must be available for inpatient consults and emergency OR as needed
Volume
-
Friday: 1–2 consults
-
Saturday/Sunday: Variable; usually 5–10 consults per day
-
Procedures may include: stent placements, stone removal, clot evacuation, etc.
Requirements
-
Board Certification in Urology – Required
-
Active West Virginia License or IMLC – Required
-
DEA – Required
-
BLS and ACLS – Required
-
Must be comfortable with all general urology procedures
-
Must be able to manage adult patients (18+)
