- Work Dates Needed: Nov 2025 - Ongoing
- Preferred Schedule: Call Coverage - Mon (7a) - Mon (7a) | *Must be available to work the full block
- Worksite Setting: Inpatient
- Scope of Work:
- Respond to acute transfers from community hospitals within the system
- Manage emergent urology cases, including:
- Adult consults and procedures
- Pediatric emergencies limited to testicular torsion; all other pediatric cases are referred to a pediatric urologist
- Average case volume: ~10 cases per week (estimate)
- Call volume is light during weekdays, but may increase on weekends due to absence of weekday urology staff
- Each hospital has dedicated urology APPs who:
- Handle initial consults
- Prep and schedule cases
- Provide continuity of care during weekdays
- Not a trauma center, so trauma-related urology cases are not expected
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active PA license *Will accept IMLC | Active DEA w/PA address | Board Certified | ACLS/BLS | Min of 5 years' experience | Must be able to work full block of Mon (7a) - Mon (7a)
