Job description
We are seeking a Locum Urologist to support an established, high-volume practice due to an open position.
This opportunity offers a mix of clinic and call responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Robotics are available, though robotic procedures are not required. A minimum commitment of three months is expected, with long-term coverage opportunities available.
Coverage begins in March, with July onward fully open.

Bed Size - 250 approx.
Coverage Dates
March: 2–6, 9–13, 16–20, 30–31
April: 1–3, 6–10, 13–17, 20–24
May: 4–8, 11–15, 25–29
June: 1–5, 8–12, 22–26, 29–30
July onward: Every week open

Job Responsibilities
Perform procedures including:
Cystoscopy
Vasectomies
Prostate biopsy
TURP
Uroflow/cuff studies
Bladder scans
Ureteroscopy
Nephrectomy
Cystectomy
ESWL
Botox injections
Manage inpatient rounding responsibilities
Respond to consults and callbacks while on call
Collaborate with the hospitalist team for admissions
Qualifications
Active state license (highly preferred) or IMLC with LOQ in hand at time of submission
Active DEA (required)
ACLS and BLS preferred (must obtain if selected)
Clean malpractice history (highly preferred)
Ability to cover approximately 80% of the listed dates
Working Hours
Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (not every shift)
24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Call Rotation: 1:6
Call Requirement: 5–6 days per month (any day of the week)
Weekends: Limited
Average Callback Time: Weekdays: 0.5 hours; Weekends: 2 hours
Call schedules are released approximately one month in advance
Skills
Ability to manage a busy, fast-paced practice
Comfort balancing clinic volume and call responsibilities
Familiarity with Epic EMR
Strong communication and teamwork skills
