Job Opportunity: Urologist in Brattleboro, VT
Join a community-focused, not-for-profit hospital in scenic southern Vermont as a full-time General Urologist. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urological care to adult and pediatric patients.
- Deliver care in outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.
- Collaborate with an established urologist and nurse practitioner within a single-site practice.
- Perform surgical procedures in new, state-of-the-art operating rooms.
- Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency department.
- Participate in a light on-call rotation, with a 1:4 call schedule for 7 days a month.
- Manage an average of 14–16 patients per day.
- Support departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for effective diagnosis and treatment.
- Open to new graduates; candidates with lapsed board certification will be considered if willing to recertify.
Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
- Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Active Vermont medical license (must be obtained prior to start).
Licenses and Certification Requirements:
- Certification by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
- DEA registration.
- BLS certification.
