Job description
Summary
We are seeking a full-time Urologist for a 3-6 month assignment involving clinic duties and call coverage. The candidate should have experience in a broad range of general urology cases, including those requiring the use of robotic technology, if necessary. The Urologist will be the sole provider in a fast-paced department and must possess excellent patient and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide general urology care in a clinic and on-call setting
- Manage a patient volume of 20-25 patients per day
- Perform approximately 20-30 surgeries per month
- Use robotic technology available for procedures
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Washington state license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in hand
- BLS certification
- Self-inquiry NPDB report preferred for priority consideration
- Availability information, including open weeks the provider can cover
- CV with work history and dates in MM/YY format
- Specific availability and any black-out dates
Credentialing Information
- Credentialing process timeframe: 3 months
- Required documents must be completed and submitted by the deadline
- Must comply with credentialing deadlines to ensure a smooth process
- Credentialing with other facilities provided, excluding specific ones
Schedule Details
- Clinic hours: 8 AM to 4 PM
- Night call: 5 PM to 7 AM
- On-call duties: 24-hour coverage, approximately 5-6 days per month
- EMR system: Epic
Submission Requirements
- Complete and accurate provider submissions are mandatory
- All documents must be compiled into a single PDF file for submission
- The PDF title must include the provider's name, site location, and specialty
Certifications
- Required: BLS and DEA
Licenses
- Must hold a valid Washington state license or be eligible through IMLC
