Assignment Overview:
Location: Coastal Southern California
Rate: Over $2,600 per day
Coverage Type: Call coverage only (no clinic)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule:
Primarily weekend coverage
Flexible options depending on availability and coordination with in-house provider
30-minute response time required
Please submit specific availability cadence when applying
EMR: Meditech
Work Details:
Call and rounding on referred patients
Assist with surgery as needed (including trauma/emergent if necessary)
Patients per shift: 3–5
Trauma Level 2 facility
In-house Trauma Surgeon coverage at all times
Practice Setting: Inpatient only
Skills Required:
General Urology
Comfortable with emergency/trauma surgeries (if rare situations arise)
Familiarity with core urology privileges including robotics and aquablation (primarily elective)
Requirements:
Board Certification in Urology
Active California Medical License
