• Support staff: 2 MD; 3 APP. The APPSs round 7 days/week, perform consults and assist with discharges. Also see office clinic patients.
• Coverage Type: Clinic + call
• Schedule Details: Monday-Friday working 8a-5p in Clinic; There is also 7 days of 24hr call per month (with one weekend included)
Work Details:
• Facility Type: clinic and hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Avg. Day: 25-28 patients in clinic but will likely be less since all patients will be “new” to the locum MD. Highly productive physician dept. (Example: there is a 6-8 month wait time for non-urgent diagnosis. On surgery days, departing MD performs 2-3 robotic cases or 6 other cases on main hospital day and 4-6 on ASC day (acute surgery center).
• Beds: 217
• Patient Age Group: adults
• Procedures: Robotics would be a plus; basic urology procedures in office and hospital (biopsy, cystectomies, vasectomies, TURP, TURBT, kidney stone surgeries)
