Urology opening - Waterloo, IA J1/H1b Eligible Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Hospital-Based employee
  • Established practice with robust patient panel
  • Established practice with robust patient panel
  • Diverse patient panel includes PEDS to Adult
  • Collaborative team of 4 Physicians and 3 APPs
  • State of the Art equipment with da Vinci Surgical Robot onsite
  • Experienced OR staff and dedicated Urology and Robotics team
  • Supportive staff includes supportive administration, 2 Nurses per provider, Experience specialist, and onsite lab
  • Large number of employed Primary Care providers that creates a healthy, loyal referral network
  • 204 bed hospital with established hospitalist team for consults and admits
  • Surgical Oncology for bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular cancer
  • Provides care to 3 clinic outreach locations: Sumner, Fort Dodge, and Marshalltown, IA
  • Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR
Responsibilities: Average patients/per day: varies depending on clinic/OR schedule Clinic hours: Monday-Thursday 8AM-4PM and Friday 8-1PM Great mix of outpatient, inpatient, and Surgery Call requirements 1:5 with APP support Two surgical location Ancillary ownership opportunities in ambulatory surgical center Referrals include bladder disorders, urinary incontinence, infertility, kidney stones, prostate disorders, vasectomies, and general pediatric urology Office procedures: bladder biopsy, bladder instillations, bladder Ultrasound, botox injections, cystourethroscopy, lesion removal, REZUM treatment, Prostate biopsies, lithotripsy, and vasectomies, ect.. Two Davinci XI surgical robots onsite Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Provide the best outcome for every patient every time Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in urology Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of State Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) J-1 waiver sponsorship available Compensation/Benefits Competitive compensation package Attractive incentive package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
