Job Title: Permanent Physician - Urology
Join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in Mid Michigan! We are looking for a dedicated Urologist to meet the growing needs of our patients. This position is crucial for expanding access to care while delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Facility Overview:
Our practice is part of a robust healthcare system, featuring a 205-member employed physician group supported by over 77 advanced practice providers. We utilize state-of-the-art facilities, including new robotic technology and a beautiful outpatient surgery center equipped with da Vinci systems. As a leader in healthcare delivery, we are focused on community stewardship and professional fulfillment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of general urology procedures, including laparoscopic techniques.
- Collaborate with three experienced urologists, including two uro-oncologists.
- Participate in a call rotation of 1:4.
- Utilize Epic as the Electronic Health Record system, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Involve medical students and residents in clinical rounds to foster a learning environment.
- Work in both hospital and outpatient settings with cutting-edge technology.
- Contribute to building a premier urologic practice within our organization.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology (within 5 years of residency).
- Experience with laparoscopic/robotic urology techniques.
- Excellent clinical and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with patients and families.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Michigan state license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- CSR/CDS certification (must be obtained prior to start).
