Position Overview:
ARMC is seeking a qualified, board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Ashtabula, OH. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity designed for dedicated physicians who aim to deliver exceptional outpatient neurology care within a vibrant clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage a diverse adult patient population, with an expected patient volume of 15-20 patients daily.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological services, with a small portion (~5%) involving inpatient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations approximately 10 days per month to support hospital and emergency needs.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures, including electromyography (EMG), utilizing onsite equipment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice providers, laboratory, and radiology staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical guidelines.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Valid medical license to practice in Ohio or eligible for licensure
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Certification or eligibility for certification in Electromyography (EMG) desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate excellent clinical skills
Candidate Requirements:
- Willingness to reside within a 40-mile radius of Ashtabula, OH, or availability to relocate
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa holders; sponsorship options available
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered neurological care
