Urologist Opportunity in Jackson, MI

Join a dedicated team at a prominent facility in Jackson, Michigan, part of the Henry Ford Health System since 2016. Located just 77 miles west of Detroit, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Urologist to thrive in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care as a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist.
• Participate in both outpatient and inpatient services, including rounds and clinics.
• Engage in a collaborative call rotation of 1:4, ensuring a sustainable work-life balance.
• Conduct surgeries with two dedicated OR days each week and 2.5 days of clinical work.
• Manage a patient load of approximately 22 patients daily, including new consultations.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment for procedures such as cystoscopies, vasectomies, and prostate biopsies.
• Work with a skilled support team, including Advanced Practice Professionals and Medical Assistants.
• Access a streamlined consulting process with a single hospital for minimized travel and enhanced workflow.
• Contribute to community health initiatives in partnership with local organizations.
• Engage in a collegial environment that prioritizes patient care and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 6 months) or Board Certified in Urology.
• Valid Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Up-to-date flu vaccination (or commitment to obtain).
• DEA and CSR/CDS certifications (to be obtained prior to starting).
• Clean malpractice and license history.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DEA and CSR/CDS certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
