Urology Locum positioin in Williamsport, Pennsylvania (PA)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Urology Physician to work locum shifts in Williamsport, Pennsylvania (PA) Starting in December or as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work each month with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Urology role:

• Location: Williamsport, PA
• Trauma Level: II
• Coverage Type: Solo

Schedule:

• Weekend Coverage: 1 weekend/month (12 weekends/year)
• 6 weekends must follow one of two structured formats:
• Option A: Thurs (5p–7a night call), Fri (7a–7a clinic + call), Sat & Sun (7a–7a 24hr call)
• Option B: Fri (7a–7a clinic + call), Sat & Sun (7a–7a 24hr call), Mon (7a–7a clinic + call)
• Additional Coverage: 1 full week/year (provider may choose the week)
• Weekday Clinic: 7a–5p (Outpatient + Inpatient)
• Night Call: 5p–7a
• 24hr Call: 7a–7a
• No clinic on weekends

Clinical Scope:

• Typical Day: Weekdays include outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding.

Weekends involve inpatient rounding, consults, and emergency procedures.

• Procedures: Cystoscopy, Vasectomy, Lithotripsy, Stents, Hydroceles
• OR Days: No scheduled OR days; emergency procedures only
• Average Daily Volumes:
  • Inpatients: 5–15
  • Admissions: 5
  • Consults: 5–8
  • Admissions while on call: ~2

EMR: EPIC & Cerner

Requirements of the Urology role:

• PA State License active & unrestricted, or IMLC LOQ (In-Hand)
• Board Certified-Urology
• BLS
• Experience: Must be comfortable working solo and handling both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
