Work Dates Needed: June 17th – July 1stm
July 15th – July 29th
August 19th – September 1st
September 23rd – October 7th

Preferred Schedule: 6AM-6AM
Worksite Setting: Trauma Level 1 Center
Scope of Work:
Physician will be covering as a UroHospitalist
24- Hour Call Coverage included
Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon
Census for unit usually grows to 20-25 over the weekend, with 15-20 consults each weekend also
Standard urology procedures include: stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc.
MUST be comfortable with trauma/open procedures – i.e. gun shot wounds that involves kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc.
McLeod Regional operates as a level 1 trauma center and is a very busy and large facility
No APP support on weekends
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
Board Certified - Urology
SC Licensed - including SC Medical, SC CSR and DEA.
