We are working with Prisma Health. They are seeking coverage starting as soon as credentialed. Prisma Health is a healthcare institution consisting of Richland and Baptist Hospitals, strategically positioned within close proximity, merely 1.5 miles apart, in the city of Columbia, South Carolina. These hospitals play integral roles in providing healthcare services to the local community and beyond. Richland and Baptist Hospitals, under the Prisma Health umbrella, contribute to the region's medical infrastructure, offering a range of medical services, treatments, and healthcare solutions. Richland and Baptist Hospitals (1.5 miles apart)
Columbia, SC

• Covering 1 week and 2 weekends per month
• Work hours: Monday to Friday; 7a-5p, plus call (weekend and/or weekend call)
• Weekend call: Friday 5 pm to Monday 7 am
• Responsibilities include general inpatient coverage and ER call
• On-call rotation at both Baptist and Richland hospitals
• Required skills: Advanced endoscopic techniques, ureteroscopy, onsite lab and x-ray
• Preferred skills: Laparoscopic surgery, radical cystectomy w/ ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies/intraoperative u/s, renal and bladder u/s w/biopsy, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, ESWL, brachytherapy
• Special procedures: Holmium laser certification preferred
• Average 0-10 patients per day between both hospitals
• Both hospitals have full cystoscopy suite with endoscopic equipment, holmium laser, robotics, and laparoscopy
• Onsite support from all specialty backup and interventional radiology
• Support staff: 4 NPs
• EPIC
