Job Responsibilities

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individual patients
- Initiate and document appropriate interventions
- Evaluate and record patient/family response within practice protocol
- Prescribe drug therapies per protocol/Physician consultation
- Administer IV, and oral medications, vascular access device maintenance and monitoring, chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration, blood administration, therapeutic phlebotomy, assess patient symptoms and manage side effects, and over all collaboration on patient treatment plans
- Promote wellness and recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs
- Complete patient charges
- Provide case management for Urology clients and their families
- Supervise the activities of clinical nursing and support staff
- Mentor new providers
- Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize medical records systems to document patient information and treatment progress
- Provide primary care for urological conditions, including preventive care and health maintenance

Qualifications

- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of a residency program in urology
- Proficiency in performing urological procedures
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilators for pediatric urology cases
