One of our clients in North Dakota needs assistance with Urology locum tenens coverage. Here are some of the details:
Location: Central ND
Facility: 225-bed Hospital
Coverage Dates: Nov - Sporadic
Schedule: 8a-5p
Practice Details: Prefers providers who are able to perform prostate biopsies with an RN and no ultrasound tech at the site; Duties: On call for Inpatient and ED. New IP consults must be seen face to face within 24 hours. Will see patients in the outpatient clinic 3 days per week and have 2 days of surgery for elective or urgent cases; Required Procedures: needs to be able to do cystoscopies and biopsies in the clinic Must be able to perform biopsies without US tech. Nurse does assist with the procedure but does not operate the US machine; Support Staff: 2 RN's and 1 CNA; 1-3 patients daily; Number of surgeries? just emergent surgeries. May get 1-3 stone cases while working; Providers will do rounding during the week on their post op patients, but no other rounding required; The clinic is located in the hospital; 30 patients scheduled per day in the clinic with 5 in clinic procedures per day; On surgery days, there will typically be 4 surgeries scheduled
