We are seeking a Urologist for Full-time coverage for one of our clients in Florence, SC. You will practice medicine during the day in a 120 bed hospital with their highly skilled team who performs the latest techniques in minimally invasive procedures. They also utilize leading edge technology including robotics in the treatment of a full-range of urological conditions. Located just 75 miles from Myrtle Beach, this city is just a stones throw away from full-service luxury beach resorts, beautiful oceanfront hotels, cozy beach homes, motels, condo rentals and campgrounds.

Qualifications

• Board Certified - Urology
• SC Licensed - including SC Medical, SC CSR and DEA.
• Assignment Details –

• FULL TIME locum Urology Opportunity effective AS SOON AS CREDENTIALGED
• Will be an ongoing need
• Clinic will be required
• Will be assisting with getting surgery cases current (we are currently severely backlogged)
• Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon
• Standard urology procedures include: stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc.
• MUST be comfortable with trauma/open procedures – i.e. gun shot wounds that involves kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc.
• The facility operates as a level 1 trauma center and is a very busy and large facility
