Location: New Haven County, Connecticut

Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient

Overview:

Healthcare United is seeking a board-certified urologist to join our team, delivering exceptional inpatient and outpatient care in the fields of general urology and male sexual health

Responsibilities:

  • Manage both acute and chronic illnesses related to general urology and male sexual health
  • Prescribe, execute, and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Perform necessary surgical procedures for diagnosing and treating urological conditions
  • Collaborate with management, fellow physicians, and staff to enhance care delivery and service
  • Ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements in coordination with practice management
  • Work alongside hospital and practice leaders to expand the practice's clinical capabilities and promote its services
  • Provide on-call coverage for Urology, with a call rotation of 1:3

Qualification:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO)
  • Board certification in Urology is required, or board eligibility for new graduates
  • Possession of a valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or the ability to obtain one
  • Training on minimally invasive robotic surgery strongly preferred
  • Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate
