Urology opening in Lewiston, ID Located 100 miles from Spokane Service area: 100,000 Details:

  • Full-time, permanent
  • MD or DO
  • Experienced or new grad welcome
  • Reason for recruitment: Retiring physician
  • Call Ratio: There are no other urologists in the community - the closest are 2 urologists in a community 30+ minutes away.
  • Physician not required to take more than 10 days of call per month - but can choose to take more if they would like
  • da Vinci Robot available
  • Procedures performed: Cytoscopy/Panendoscopy, Hydrocelectomy, Insertion of ureteral catheters/stents, Suprapubic cystostomy, TUR of prostate, bladder biopsy, Orchiectomy, Meatotomy, Transurethral lithapopaxy, Urterolithotomy, testicular biopsy, ureterscopy, etc.
  • Typically 1-2 days of surgery/week
Additional Information Successful, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical practice Group has a collegial, respectful and friendly provider staff environment Medical center offers an array of ancillary services including full service Laboratory and Radiology Departments with onsite X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and DEXA services Multitude of providers and specialties for referral purposes, including: Express Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Occupational Medicine, OBGYN, Dermatology, ENT, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry, General Surgery, and Behavioral Health Compensation and Benefits: Base salary starting at $450,000 plus bonus incentive based on production Exceptional benefits package: CME, Paid Time Off, retirement, profit sharing, health, dental, vision insurance, and much more Starting incentives, including: sign-on bonus, residency or fellowship stipend, student loan repayment, and relocation expense reimbursement Physicians have the opportunity for partnership after the first year About the Community: The Lewiston-Clarkston Valley has a population of ~60,000 and is located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers on the Idaho/Washington border.
