A recognized leader in the California healthcare industry, our client offers physicians the backing and support of a larger, established provider organization with a full range of services and specialties. Our client is seeking a full-time physician to join their Urgent Care practice in the area of Bakersfield.
The Urgent Care Center is capable of treating a vast majority of medical conditions. They also work in a unique and innovative manner with preferred hospitals. Rapid transfer of care is facilitated through a "direct admit" program for patients by coordinating with their Hospitalist team.

Position Details:
- Established and growing Independent Physicians Association (IPA)
- Offers a strong clinical support team and patient-centered administrative staff
- Guaranteed three 12-hour shifts per week, additional shifts may be available upon request
- Hours of operation for each shift will be from 8:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m.
- A nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) may be assigned to you for supervision
- Will be a role model ensuring the provision of personalized, quality patient care
- Residents will be considered
Qualifications Include:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Requires a valid California medical license
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR, PALS, and ACLS certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred
- Residents will be considered
