Urgent Care NP or PA
Location: TX
Schedule: Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM–9:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; expected 6–10 shifts per month
Position Overview
Provide urgent care coverage for patients up to age 21, including evaluation, treatment, and common urgent care procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat urgent care complaints (patients up to age 21)
Perform common urgent care procedures including incision and drainage (I&D), splinting, and suturing
Manage approximately 4 patients per hour
Document care using Experity EMR
Provide coverage across multiple clinic locations within the assigned region
Required Qualifications
Active Texas NP or PA license
Board certification required
PALS certification required
Preferred Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred (pediatric experience preferred)
Weekend availability preferred
