Locums | Urgent Care | St. Louis, MO (MO or IMLC) Why This Role

  • MO or IMLC accepted
  • No call, 12-hour shifts
  • Multiple openings (4), ongoing — locums-to-perm potential
  • Onsite X-ray and EKG
  • Coverage across the St. Louis metro network
Assignment Details Start/end: Starts 10/19, ongoing (authorized through 2/1/2027) Schedule: 12-hour shifts; centers open 8A-8P Mon-Fri, 9A-5P Sat/Sun (moving to 12-hour weekend shifts); no call, no overtime. Preference for providers who can work blocks, weekdays, and weekends Coverage type: Outpatient urgent care Volume: 36-48 patients/shift; 4 rooms Setting: Urgent care centers throughout the St. Louis metro area; onsite X-ray and EKG Support: MAs, scribes, rad techs (no RN/LPN support) EMR: Epic (training provided after credentialing/onboarding) Credentialing: ~120 days Clinical Details Required scope: Urgent care for adults and pediatrics; minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), reading EKGs and X-rays Must be trained to see both adults and pediatrics Proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months required Requirements Residency-trained and board certified (or board eligible within 5 years) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds — ABMS or AOB only, no other boards accepted License: MO or IMLC BLS (must be current, direct from AHA) Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
