Coverage Needed
- Start Date: 7/13/2026
- Schedule: Mix of 10a-10p or 6a-6p; typically 4 in a row
- Coverage needed Mon-Thurs
- Estimated Shifts/Month: 16
Clinical Details
- Walk-In Clinic averages 60-70 patients per day split between 3 providers
- 2.5 patients per hour
- MD/DO may be alone from 6a-9a / NP may be alone from 9p-10p
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Experienced NP's, RN's, LPN's, MA's
- all specialties on site other than Rheum, Pediatric Specialist
- Adult Percentage: 60.00%
- Peds Percentage: 40.00%
- Typical Cases Seen: Some Ortho, xrays, spliting, suturing, foreign body eye removal, cough sore throat, UTI, STD testing/pelvic exam, flu, rashes, ect.
- Procedures: Splinting, suturing required
Requirements
- BC or BE in Family Medicine
- State License Required: Illinois
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Certifications Required: PALS, DEA, CSR
- Must be available to cover Mon-Thurs
- Required at Initiation of Credentialing: Documentation verifying clinical ambulatory experience providing care to at least 50 Walk-In Clinic/Express Care patients within the past 12 months OR proof of successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency program
