About this role:
The Advanced Practice Provider Urgent Care Fellowship is our selective program for recent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant graduates with an interest in furthering their education in the field of Urgent Care. Our 12-month program includes clinical time under the guidance of preceptors, rotations through multiple specialties, didactic lectures, and opportunities to participate in journal clubs and research/QI projects. Fellows will rotate through multiple Urgent Care clinics while developing skills in problem-focused point of care of acute and acute-on-chronic medical problems. The Urgent Care Fellowship is limited to Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who have graduated from an accredited school within the 12 months prior to program start date, and, if applicable, have less than nine months working experience as an APP at the time of program start. The Fellowship is one year in length, with an additional two years after graduation as an independent provider, for a total commitment of three years, which must be completed in Southern Nevada. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.

What you’ll bring:
- Must have a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Nevada AND have taken board examinations 90 days prior to start date (anticipated start date: July 6, 2026).
- Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program within the 12 months prior to start date, and if applicable, be employed for no more than nine months as an APP prior to start date.
- Current Nevada DEA certificate and Nevada Pharmacy license required prior to start date (or in-process).
- BLS certification required prior to start date (or in process).
- Prior experience in urgent care, critical care, or emergency medicine is preferred but not required.
