ASAP Start | Ongoing | Flexible Scheduling | Local Physicians Preferred
Urgent Care clinics throughout the Austin, TX metropolitan area are expanding their PRN and part-time provider pool. Seeking experienced Urgent Care Physicians (FM, IM, EM) who are confident treating all ages, skilled in full-scope UC procedures, and available for flexible ongoing scheduling.
Providers available Friday–Monday are highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Perform laceration repairs, foreign body removal, I&Ds, splinting, and wound care
Interpret EKGs and perform preliminary X-ray reads (teleradiology backup within ~1 hour)
Manage urgent, non-emergent presentations
Connect patients to primary/specialty care as needed
100% urgent care — no ED procedures and no chronic primary care management
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care; no clinic operations responsibilities
Qualifications
DEA
ACLS, BLS, PALS
Minimum 1 year of urgent care experience
Must be fully comfortable seeing all ages
Accepted specialties: FM, IM, EM with UC experience
Working Hours
Assignment Length: Ongoing PRN / Part-Time
Minimum Requirement: 2 shifts per month (flexible)
Typical Shift: 9a–9p
Clinic Hours:
Mon–Thu: 8a–8p
Saturday: 8a–7p
Sunday: 8a–5p
Patient Volume: ~3–4 patients per hour
EMR: Experity
Travel: Not offered
Credentialing: ~30 days
