This opportunity is with a well-established urgent care group serving communities across Connecticut. The organization operates several modern clinics that provide high-quality, convenient walk-in care for patients of all ages.
Clinics are fully equipped with on-site X-ray, labs, and procedure capabilities, supported by experienced medical assistants, radiology staff, and a dedicated administrative team. Providers benefit from a collaborative workplace and efficient workflows designed to support high-quality patient care.
Position Summary
The group is seeking multiple Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physician Assistants to join its urgent care team across various Connecticut clinic locations.Providers may rotate between nearby urgent care centers depending on staffing needs. Shifts are structured and predictable, and depending on the day, providers may work independently or alongside another PA, NP, or supervising physician.
Candidates must have at least one year of post-training PA clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or another acute care setting.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Provide urgent care evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages
Perform standard urgent care procedures, including:
Suturing
Splinting
Incision & drainage
Basic orthopedic procedures
Conduct workers’ compensation evaluations and employment physicals
Utilize Experity EMR for documentation and order entry
Rotate across local urgent care clinics within the region
Collaborate with physicians, NPs, PAs, radiology staff, and MAs
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow organizational protocols
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Licensure & Certification
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible PA
Active Connecticut PA license (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience
Minimum 1 year of post-training experience required
Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or other acute care settings preferred
Skills
Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, I&D, etc.)
Excellent clinical decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
Strong communication and patient-counseling skills
