Your position is designed for a sustainable, healthy schedule:
- No Overnight Obligations: Public urgent care hours are 8 am–8 pm, Monday–Friday, and 8 am–4 pm, Saturday and Sunday.
- Consistent Scheduling: Enjoy a predictable, ongoing 4-week schedule with every-other-weekend requirements.
- Advanced Scheduling: Schedules are managed effectively with SlingApp, allowing you to know your schedule months/years in advance.
- Generous Time Off: Accrue 3 weeks of PTO plus additional CME time.

Practice at a state-of-the-art facility with excellent support and a high-acuity patient mix.
Scope of Practice:
- Seeking a provider passionate about procedures. Must be comfortable with all ages (children under 3 years old account for 5% of volumes).
- Case Variety: See non-flu season volumes in the upper 20s.
- Treated Conditions Include: Allergies/asthma flare-ups, upper respiratory/sinus/eye/UTI/STI infections, flu-like symptoms, dehydration, mild sprains and strains, minor fractures, back pain, headaches, skin conditions (rashes, bites, burns), minor cuts, foreign object removal, and concussion symptoms.
Facility Support:
- On-site Diagnostics: Lab and X-Ray, COVID-19 PCR testing, plus swab/fingerstick, urine, blood glucose, and hemoglobin testing, are on-site.
- Advanced imaging is available at the hospital. The hospital has long-standing, excellent Emergency and Radiology Departments.
- The Morris Urgent Care is an Immediate Care location; walk-ins are welcome, and coming in 2026, patients can call ahead to "save your spot."
Requirements & Certifications:
- Required: BLS, PALS, ACLS & certifications (all through AHA).
- Required: Ability to read radiographs (initial reads only with radiologist support).
- Required: Skillful with suturing (complete skill assessment survey).
- Required: Proficiency with OccMed work.
- Note: DOT certification must be obtained before the hire date.
