Locums | NP/PA – Urgent Care | No Call | Fayetteville, NC Why This Role

  • Provide independent urgent care coverage treating both adult and pediatric patients
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive onsite team and supervising physician offsite
  • Gain consistent, ongoing shifts with flexibility across multiple nearby clinic locations
Assignment Details Coverage Type: No Call Setting: Outpatient – Urgent Care Center Start: ASAP End: Ongoing Schedule: Varied; shifts listed by facility as available Patient Demographics: All ages (6 months and up) Volume: Average 20 patients per day (up to 40 at times) Support Staff: Center Manager, MA, PSA, Supervising Physician offsite for APPs Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures Credentialing: ~20 days Travel: Mileage reimbursement only (no flight, lodging, or rental reimbursement) EMR: Epic (training required prior to first solo shift) Clinical Details Practice independently as the sole provider per shift Provide urgent and acute care for both pediatric and adult patients Must be comfortable with procedures and fast-track decision-making Requirements Board Certified NP or PA Active North Carolina license BLS required Minimum 12 months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience Strong communication and patient engagement skills EPIC proficiency or willingness to train Not accepting new grads Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Mileage reimbursed only
